Armenian alpine skiing team newcomer wins silver at international tournament

Armenia’s Gleb Mosesov claimed second place during the first EUSA Winter Championship in alpine skiing. The championship is held in Italy and will last until December 22.

The newcomer of the Armenian national team was second during his first attempt. In the second attempt, he overtook the leader, one of the strongest athletes, Bulgaria’s Kamen Zlatkov, but he was behind the competitor by a hundredth of a second.

Another representative of Armenia, Zhirayr Arakelyan, took 28th place. On December 21, Gleb Mosesov will also compete in the giant slalom tournament.

Previously, Gleb Mosesov won two gold medals at the international tournament held in Leogang, Austria.
