CSTO Secretary General and Armenian FM discuss regional situation

On December 21, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov, the press center of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.

The sides discussed the activities of the CSTO, with the Secretary General briefing Mirzoyan on the results of the meeting of the Collective Security Council held in November 2023 in Minsk and the joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils.

During the meeting, Mirzoyan and Tasmagambetov exchanged views on the situation in the region and projects aimed at developing transport and economic communications, including the Crossroads of Peace project launched by the Armenian government.
