Archbishop Sevan Gharibian of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem arrived today in the West Bank of the Palestinian Authority to celebrate Christmas and to serve the liturgy in the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem.
“We want peace, we don’t want war. Peace between all confessions, between families and countries,” His Holiness said.
The Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates Christmas on January 6, but Armenians in Jerusalem celebrate it according to the old calendar.
