Can Azerbaijani and Turkish citizens purchase real estate in Armenia? Cadaster Committee Chief answers

After the government session, Head of the Cadaster Committee Suren Tovmasyan responded to reporters’ question about whether foreign citizens, including Azerbaijani and Turkish citizens, can purchase real estate in Armenia under the same procedure.

Tovmasyan replied that restrictions on property acquisition in Armenia apply only to agricultural land.

“Citizens and legal entities of other states cannot purchase agricultural land. In all other cases, the procedure is the same. Everyone can apply to sign the relevant deal,” he said.
