Azerbaijan responds to Armenia’s intention to provide new minefield maps

The Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry responded to the statement of the National Security Service of Armenia on the intention to provide minefield maps, Azerbaijani media reported.

“Azerbaijan expects Armenia to provide accurate maps of all mined areas.

Azerbaijan has repeatedly demanded Armenia submit minefield maps, both before and after the 2020 war,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Earlier, the National Security Service of Armenia announced that eight new documents containing information on minefields would soon be submitted to Azerbaijan.
