Today, on January 30, the Armenian Apostolic Church commemorates Sts. Sukiasians.
Relatives of the queen Satenik, being the followers of Sts. Voskian priests, later were called Sukiasians, as their leader’s name was Sukias.
Not managing to persuade and return their former servants, the Armenian princes took revenge on their preachers, Sts. Voskians, and killed them with swords.
