Armenian industrial production increased by 4.1% in 2023, EEC says

Industrial production in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) grew by 3.7% year-over-year in 2023, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) said in a press release.
“In January-December 2023, the industrial production of the EAEU amounted to 103.7% as compared to January-December 2022. Industrial production growth was observed in Belarus (7.7%), Kazakhstan (4.3%), Armenia (4.1%), Russia (3.5%), and Kyrgyzstan (2.7%),” the EEC said.
The EEC noted that production in the manufacturing industry increased by 7.4%, while production of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning went up by 0.3%. At the same time, mining and quarrying output declined by 0.6%.
