Rafael Sargsyan wins Fudokan Karate-do World Cup 

On March 8–10, the Russian city of Ivanovo hosted the Fudokan Karate-do World Cup, with 1.5 thousand athletes from 15 countries participating. 

Rafael Sargsyan defeated the master of sports of international class to reach the finals, where he faced the athlete from Tajikistan. The score was tied, and as a result, the judges decided to award two first places. 

In the team’s competition, first place was taken by the national team of Russia, Uzbekistan placed second, and Armenia placed third.
