World Poetry Day: Yeghishe Charents’ famous poem recited by Khoren Abrahamyan

World Poetry Day is celebrated on March 21. This day was established by UNESCO in 1999 and is celebrated annually. The main goal is to support linguistic diversity through poetic expression. 

World Poetry Day is another reason to recall your favorite poets, host a poetry night, and share masterpieces of world poetry and your own works with friends.

The Union of Armenians of Russia from Krasnodar Territory suggests listening to the epoch-making poem by Yeghishe Charents, Yes Im Anush Hayastani (I love my sweet Armenia’s…), recited by People’s Artist of the USSR and the Armenian SSR, Khoren Abrahamyan.
