Hikmet Hajiyev: Decision on early withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers was made by leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan

The top leadership of Russia and Azerbaijan made a decision on the early withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from the territory of Artsakh, Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev reported.

“The top leadership of both countries made a decision on the early withdrawal of the Russian peacekeeping troops, which were temporarily deployed in accordance with a trilateral statement of November 10, 2020. The process has already kicked off. The Defense Ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia are taking appropriate measures to implement this decision,” he said.
