West uses Armenia as tool for escalation in South Caucasus, says Russia MFA spox

The West assigns Armenia the role of a tool for igniting a new big fire in the region, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing on Thursday.

“No matter what beautiful words the West says about the concern for peace in the South Caucasus, Armenia is assigned the role of a tool with the help of which the US and the EU want to ignite a new big fire,” she said.
