Prayer service to be held at St. Amenaprkich Church in Abkhazia to commemorate Armenian Genocide victims

On April 24, Priest Sedrak Aznavuryan, the spiritual pastor of the Armenians of Abkhazia, will conduct a prayer service at the St. Amenaprkich Church in Gagra to commemorate the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, the Armenian community of Abkhazia reports.

A mourning rally will be held in the courtyard of the church.

April 24 is the day the whole world commemorates the victims of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.
