AYF leads annual March for Justice in Washington DC on 109th anniversary of Armenian Genocide

The Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) held its annual March for Justice in Washington DC on the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

The protesters marched from the Azerbaijani Embassy in the US to the Turkish Embassy, converging on the White House. They demanded that the President Joe Biden administration end US complicity in Azerbaijan’s genocide of Artsakh’s indigenous Armenians and support their dignified and safe return to their Artsakh homes.

Ambassador Sam Brownback, a former US Senator, Kansas Governor, and US Ambassador for International Religious Freedom, also participated in the march, calling on the US government to stand with Armenia against an imminent threat of invasion by Turkey and Azerbaijan.

The protesters brought banners that read “Armenia wants peace”, “Yerevan wants peace and Baku wants Yerevan”, “President Biden, sanction Azerbaijan”, “Stop Azerbaijan’s aggression” and others.
