Russia regrets that Armenia continues to unjustifiably criticize CSTO

Russia regrets that the Armenian authorities continue to unjustifiably publicly criticize the CSTO, although the organization has confirmed that it keeps all obligations towards the country, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said during a briefing on Thursday.

“We regret that the Armenian authorities continue to express public criticism of the CSTO. Not just criticism—criticism can and must be expressed—but unjustifiable criticism. This happens despite the fact that the leadership, the secretariat of the organization, has confirmed that it retains all obligations with regard to the republic,” Zakharova said.
