Aspram Krpeyan: The village is still blocked by the Armenian police, not by the enemy

We were unlawfully prohibited from entering Kirants, and, unfortunately, we were not able to meet or communicate with the villagers, MP from the Hayastan faction Aspram Krpeyan told Alpha News.
“We were simply horrified by the footage that showed the police using brute force against the villagers. We were unlawfully prohibited from entering Kirants, and, unfortunately, we were not able to meet or communicate with the villagers. Our colleague Garnik Danielyan, who himself is from Tavush, managed to get to the village through the forest, and only through him were we able to get information about the current situation.
As you know, the village is still under siege, and it is blocked not by the enemy but by police officers of the Republic of Armenia and people with Armenian names and surnames. We waited for hours near the police barrier to understand how long this lawlessness would continue, but, apparently, they have clear instructions: not to let Bagrat Srbazan and opposition MPs into Kirants,” Krpeyan said.
The MP emphasized that the unlawful process of demarcation and delimitation of the border will in no way guarantee peace.
“There is an unlawful process of delimitation and demarcation taking place, a process of unilateral concessions and surrender of the homeland. All this will in no way guarantee the peace they regularly talk about. On the contrary, this will make the defense system of our republic more vulnerable because we are talking about the sovereign territory of Armenia, which, at the behest of the leader of this occupation gang, is given to the enemy, Azerbaijan, on a platter,” Krpeyan concluded.
