Tavush for the Homeland movement reflects the expectations of all of us, Ashot Avetisyan, a professor at the Department of Philosophical Sciences at Moscow State Linguistic University, told Alpha News.

“We are all very concerned about what is happening in Tavush; we are worried about what will happen. Tavush for the Homeland movement represents all our expectations, hopes, and unspoken emotions. In 2018, a revolution took place, certain changes took place, at least at the level of power, but the Armenian people, the Armenian nation, our mothers and fathers suffered losses, our borders have undergone not really favorable changes and continue to undergo them. In addition, we have had some, so to speak, changes in positions,” Ashot Avetisyan said.

In his opinion, our problem lies in definitions and wording.

“The problem lies in the wording of who an Armenian is and what Armenia will be. We have problems with definitions. By saying Artsakh, we had a problem, and the word ‘border’ became variable. The border should be stable, but today it is not known where it begins and where it ends. All these emotions, political expectations, and anti-corruption measures, which were supposed to improve public order, did not materialize or materialized elsewhere, causing many more victims,” Ashot Avetisyan concluded.
