Demarcation continues in Kirants, villagers in despair

As border demarcation in the Tavush village of Kirants continues, a large number of police forces have arrived, local residents told NEWS.am.

“We are at a loss and in despair. We don’t know what to expect. Now we are gathered in the village, watching the work, but there are more police than villagers here,” one of the villagers said.

When asked why some villagers are not participating in the march to Yerevan, he said that they could not leave their children alone.

According to locals, although the situation in the village has not changed in a positive way, parents still send their children to school.
