NATO’s Regex 2024 exercise kicked off in Moldova, with Armenia being one of the participants.

The event will be held from May 20–24 at the Agency for Science and Military Memory with the participation of about 30 representatives from NATO partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tunisia, Malta, the African Union (Ghana and Benin), as well as staff officers of the national army of Moldova.

Western-standard military training workshops are organized throughout the year as part of Regex 2024. The first workshop took place from February 16 to March 1, and the second one was held from April 22 to 26, 2024.

The exercise is aimed at training the military according to Western standards, crisis management, and strengthening and assessing the level of interoperability of forces in a multinational environment.
