Iran’s Supreme Leader says policy of expanding ties with Armenia will continue 

The late president was very sensitive to Armenia’s border issues, and this sensitivity and attention should continue to be taken into account, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said in a meeting with the Armenian Prime Minister.

“Iran’s policy of expanding relations with Armenia will continue under Mr. Mokhber’s guidance. Iran-Armenia relations have adversaries, so issues concerning the two countries should be handled with great attention,” he added.
