Famous boxer David ‘AVA’ Avanesyan got the second chance to win the World Welterweight Title.

David will fight at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, where he will face the IBF 147-pound belt holder, undefeated American Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis (31-0 28 KOs). Avanesyan will replace Canadian Cody ‘The Crippler’ Crowley (22-0 9 KOs), who was ruled out for medical reasons.

David Avanesyan, 35, has held the WBA Regular and WBA Interim titles and was the European welterweight champion.

In 2022, Avanesyan fought for the WBO belt against Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford (USA, 40-0-0 31 KOs), losing to the star American in the 6th round knockout.
