Armenian Foreign Ministry sends protest note to Belarus

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has sent a note of protest to Belarus, spokesperson Ani Badalyan reported.

“A note of protest was transmitted to the Belarusian side regarding the comments of the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus made on June 13, particularly the interference in the internal affairs of the Republic of Armenia. We should add that while expressing wishes of a leadership that thinks about the future of the country, one should have a such leadership. In the case of Belarus, it’s currently indeed a luxury,” she said.

Earlier, official Minsk, through the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, called Armenia’s position shortsighted and accused the Armenian authorities of trying to divert attention from domestic problems by creating an image of an external enemy in the face of Belarus.
