Yerevan and Paris have signed an agreement for the delivery of French CAESAR howitzers to Armenia, Sebastien Lecornu, the Minister for the Armed Forces of France, said on X.

“We continue to strengthen our defense relations with Armenia. New important milestone with the signing of a contract for the acquisition of CAESAR cannons,” he said.

Information about the price and the number of self-propelled howitzers to be supplied to Armenia was not disclosed.

Currently, Ukraine is the most active user of CAESAR howitzers, noting rapid wear and tear of the weapon and chassis, as well as problems with repairs and difficulties in finding spare parts.
