Russian Foreign Ministry announces plans to open Consulate General in Armenia

Russia expects to open the Consulate General in the Armenian town of Kapan soon, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov told TASS.
“Orders have been issued on the opening of the Consulate General in Armenia and on the opening of the Consulate General in the Maldives. Now the Consulate General will open in Bali, Indonesia. We are currently working in this direction. In general, this is fairly large organizational and technical work,” he noted.
When asked about the approximate dates for the opening of the Consulate General in Armenia, the diplomat said that it is expected “soon.”
“We expect that by the end of the year,” he added.
