Kenarik Boujikian appointed Brazil’s National Secretary for Social Dialogues and Public Policy

By a decree of June 20, Kenarik Boujikian was appointed National Secretary for Social Dialogues and Public Policy Articulation of the General Secretariat of the President of Brazil.
A granddaughter of Armenian Genocide survivors, Boujikian was born in Syria. She has been a member of the São Paulo Court of Justice since 2017, and before that, she headed the Association of Judges for Democracy.
Kenarik Boujikian is a human rights defender and works at the Superior School of the Prosecutor General’s Office of São Paulo. She was a lawyer for the Prisoner Aid Fund and a state attorney. Prior to her appointment, she was a member of the Presidential Public Ethics Commission.
