Armenian Security Council Secretary and USAID chief discuss humanitarian situation after Azerbaijan’s ethnic cleansing of Artsakh

On July 10, Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan received USAID Administrator Samantha Power.

Armen Grigoryan welcomed the visit of the delegation headed by Samantha Power to Armenia and lauded the work of USAID programs in Armenia.

The sides discussed the humanitarian situation that has developed as a result of ethnic cleansing perpetrated by Azerbaijan.

The Security Council Secretary briefed the USAID Administrator on the actions of the Armenian government to provide assistance to forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh.

They touched upon the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project and discussed the possibilities of its implementation.
