Elmira Karapetyan and Varsenik Manucharyan meet with fans at Olympic House of Armenia in Paris

Armenian athletes Elmira Karapetyan and Varsenik Manucharyan held a fan meeting at the Olympic House of Armenia in Paris after their performances at the 2024 Olympic Games, sportball24. com reports.

Swimmer Varsenik Manucharyan placed 26th in the women’s 100-meter butterfly event, while shooter Elmira Karapetyan finished 9th in the 10-meter air pistol shooting event. Elmira participated in the Olympic Torch Relay as well.

According to Manucharyan, “the presence of the fans was very inspiring.”
“We could hear their support as we prepared for the swim. It was very impressive; honestly, I was amazed. I am also pleased with my performance. I did everything I could,” she said.

Karapetyan noted that participating in the Olympic Torch Relay was very motivating for her.
“It was incredibly exciting. As for the competitions, nothing hindered me, and I showed a world-class result. Shooting is a very unpredictable sport.”
