Heartfelt Harmony: Sculptor Lyova Beibutyan’s exhibition opens in the Museum of St. Petersburg Art

On August 19, the Museum of St. Petersburg Art of the 20th and 21st centuries opened an exhibition entitled ‘Heartfelt Harmony’ of the professor of the St. Petersburg Stieglitz Academy, Lyova Beibutyan. It includes about forty easel works from different years and on different topics from museum and private collections.

Touching compositions on family, female figures embodying the image of Mother Earth, plastic images of animals, and national Armenian motifs are juxtaposed with stone works in the style of abstract art.

As the attendees noted, such a variety of genres demonstrates the sculptor’s bright and authentic talent and reveals the breadth of the author’s creative capabilities.
