The Russian city of Novorossiysk has created a ‘Canvas of Friendship’, which depicts young leaders of the city’s cultural associations and children who are to carry the heritage of their ancestors. All 15 national-cultural communities of the city are represented on the canvas.
The members of the Luys Youth Organization and Akhtamar Armenian folk dance ensemble took part in the creation of the canvas. Activist Laura Margaryan drew forget-me-nots, which symbolize the victims of the Armenian Genocide as well as the past, present, and future of the Armenian people.
