Armenian students win 3 bronze medals at International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics

Armenian students won three bronze medals at the 17th International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on August 17-27, the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science reports.

Armenia was represented by four students of the Yerevan Shahinyan Specialized School of Physics and Mathematics.

Arsen Aghayan (12th grade), Gor Asratyan (11th grade), and Emil Musheghyan (11th grade) took the bronze medal, while Narek Galstyan (11th grade) was awarded a certificate of commendation.
