Azerbaijan does not take actions to determine fate of missing Armenian soldiers – Armenia MFA

The Azerbaijani authorities do not take actions to determine the fate of the missing Armenian soldiers, Hayk Sargsyan, the Head of the Humanitarian Issues Department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, said in Vanadzor on the eve of the International Day of the Disappeared.

“Armenia is taking all possible steps to present the issue to international bodies and courts, taking into account the fact that under certain circumstances, enforced disappearances can be considered a crime against humanity. Together with international partners, we continue to take steps to determine the fate of the missing.

The Armenian side has never politicized humanitarian cooperation and has always been open to working with all involved parties. Rest assured, the work will not stop until the fate of all the missing persons is clarified,” the Armenian official said.
