110th anniversary of Armenian Genocide commemorated in Russia’s Yaroslavl

The Armenian community in Yaroslavl, Russia, marked the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.

Members of the Armenian community gathered in the courtyard of Surb Gevorg Church to honor the memory of the innocent victims. Flowers were placed at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, followed by a prayer service.

An exhibition telling about this tragic chapter in the history of the Armenian people was also organized at the “Nairi” Cultural Center.
