A possible Iran-US agreement remains uncertain: Zhanna Vardanyan

According to Iran expert Zhanna Vardanyan, it is still too early to speak of possible positive developments or a final agreement between Iran and the United States. In an interview with Alpha News, she noted that the two sides’ positions remain substantially at odds.

“This will be nothing more than a framework around which negotiations will continue, but their ultimate outcome could look entirely different,” she said.

The Iran expert also noted that in the information and propaganda space, both Iran and the US are attempting to present themselves as having achieved their goals, while in reality the process remains open and unpredictable.

Commenting on developments around Lebanon, Vardanyan noted that Israel may view the current situation as a convenient opportunity to advance its strategic objectives.
