The Fourth Republic agenda announced by Pashinyan is a dictated agenda, Raffi Sargsyan, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian Community Council of the United Kingdom, said in an interview with Alpha News.

“Undoubtedly, this agenda was dictated to the Armenian regime,” he said.

Speaking about the proposal to remove the image of Mount Ararat from border stamps, Sargsyan emphasized, “This is dictated by Erdogan, of course. He doesn’t want any territorial issues concerning Turkey, or, for example, the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, to become part of the agenda.”

According to Sargsyan, there are movements in Armenia that strive to find common ground with the West.

“But we also know that the West is very cautious in these games and tries to maintain a balance. One could also conclude that what’s happening is the result of coordinated actions by East and West,” he added.

He also noted that in current processes, Armenia receives instructions from the United States, Great Britain, or Turkey.
