Akhalkalaki’s Arto Saaryan takes two gold and one bronze medal in Russia’s student sports championship

Arto Saaryan, a second-year student at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, participated in the student sports championship in Russia and secured two gold medals and one bronze, jnews. ge reports.

Competing in multiple sports, Saaryan achieved outstanding results. In the weightlifting category among students up to 71 kg, Saaryan claimed first place by lifting 140 kg. He also secured another gold medal in the pull-up event within the same weight category, completing 37 pull-ups. In the running event, the athlete took third place.

Arto is from the Kumurdo village in the Akhalkalaki municipality. For several years before graduating from school, he practiced wrestling in the Diliska village of Akhalkalaki.
