Adam Schiff is our representative, but he is not our friend, and he is not with the Armenians, said Alex Balekian, US congressional candidate, in an interview with Alpha News.

“My name is Alex Balekian, I am a proud Armenian, born and raised in Glendale. I was educated in US schools. I am a candidate for the US Congress, and I want to be the representative of the Armenians of Glendale,” he said, adding that their slogan is “Enough”.

“The government provides financial and military support to our enemy countries, Turkiye and Azerbaijan. Isn’t it enough? If you think it’s enough, then choose me,” Balekian said.

According to him, Democrats do not represent the interests of Armenians.

“Unfortunately, the Democrats, and especially Adam Schiff, deceived Armenians. For 22 years, he took the votes and money from Armenians but did nothing for them. He wrote meaningless letters and took oaths. He reduced the amount of money sent to Armenia by 22% but voted to increase the amount sent to Turkiye by 7%. Adam Schiff is our representative, but he is not our friend, and he is not with the Armenians. Democrats are not with us and do not represent our interests,” Balekian said.
