Alexander Dudchak: Pashinyan is a modern-day Judas
Speaking with Alpha News, political scientist Alexander Dudchak commented on the recent shootings by Azerbaijan, as the State Department states that the path forward for resolving the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is ultimately at the bargaining table.
According to the expert, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan needs a conflict at the request of the West.
“Pashinyan does not have the task of moving towards a peaceful life. He has other goals. He needs a conflict at the request of the West. Now we certainly can’t hope for tranquility because Pashinyan is selling his people out. Pashinyan is a modern-day Judas. Now the West’s goal is to create another conflict along the perimeter of Russia’s borders. And, if something happens, the West will start it when it needs it. The West is creating potential hot spots for conflict. And the Caucasus is one of these spots, and they found a suitable implementer of their plans in the person of the Prime Minister of Armenia,” Dudchak said.
According to the political scientist, the probability of a new escalation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is very high.
“The probability of a new escalation of the conflict is very high because the West needs conflicts. So this is quite possible. It is not clear to what extent and when this will happen. Armenia and the Armenian people have become victims of circumstances and will be used to the maximum. As long as this regime remains in Yerevan, the probability of conflicts is extremely high,” Dudchak concluded.
