The screening of Alexis Pazoumian’s French-Armenian movie ‘The Black Garden’ was successfully held at the Pompidou Center in Paris, France.
‘The Black Garden’ tells about three generations caught in the uncertainty of the war in Artsakh. The documentary centers on children Samvel and Avo, a young soldier Eric, a lumberjack and a war veteran Karen, who live in the Armenian community of Talish in Artsakh.
The main characters try to come to terms with the new reality after the war: Eric is wounded, Karen flees to Stepanakert, and the families of Samvel and Avo seek refuge in Yerevan.
The movie will soon be presented at international film festivals in Berlin, Germany, and Bologna, Italy.
