Aliyev calls for dissolving OSCE Minsk Group

At a meeting with the OSCE Chair-in-Office, Maltese Foreign Minister Ian Borg, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that the time has come to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group, which was engaged in the mediation mission for the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, TASS reports.

“The Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is already a thing of the past, it does not exist, so the time has come to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group and associated institutions,” he said, adding that he does not see any reason for Armenia to disagree with this as well.

Aliyev added that talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan are currently underway to promote the peace agenda.
