Aliyev criticizes previous US administration

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that the Section 907 hindered the development of broad relations between Baku and Washington, local media reported.

According to him, this was influenced by two factors: the end of the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the coming to power of Donald Trump’s administration.

“This administration is very pragmatic and professional; its representatives, led by Trump, clearly understand America’s national interests,” Aliyev noted, criticizing the policy of the previous US leadership.
