Aliyev declines to attend meeting with Pashinyan in Granada

According to Azerbaijani media, France has disrupted a five-party meeting in Granada with the participation of the Prime Minister of Armenia, the President of Azerbaijan, the leader of France, the Chancellor of Germany and the head of the European Council.

The meeting was supposed to take place on October 5.

Azerbaijan insisted on Turkiye’s participation in the meeting, however, France and Germany opposed this request.

“The statements of Armenia, France, Germany and, finally, Charles Michel made it clear that anti-Azerbaijani sentiments prevail on this platform,” the Azerbaijani media reported, adding that Aliyev declined to attend the meeting.
