Aliyev on border agreements with Armenia

During a meeting with a delegation led by Latvian Saeima Speaker Daiga Mieriņa, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev noted that there are currently favorable opportunities for advancing the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan as positive agreements on the border delimitation and demarcation have already been reached between the two countries.

“There are currently very good and favorable opportunities to advance the peace agenda. As part of the bilateral process, positive agreements have also been reached on the delimitation and demarcation of the border. Azerbaijan has resolved this conflict. Thus, in international relations, one conflict has found its solution. However, despite this, it is regrettable that new conflicts are emerging in the world,” he said.
