Aliyev rejoices: Armenia agrees not to include provision about Nagorno-Karabakh in peace treaty

Armenia agreed not to include the provision about Nagorno-Karabakh in the peace treaty, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced on Tuesday.

“The so-called ‘Nagorno-Karabakh’ factor does not exist anymore. The Armenian side agreed not to include it in the peace treaty. It means that the main obstacle no longer exists,” he said. “If they stick to some ‘unimportant terms’, it will clearly mean that they want to use this time to arm themselves more and attack us again, but we will not give them this chance.”
