Aliyev says ‘no obstacles’ to signing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan

There are no longer any obstacles to signing a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Europe Leo Docherty on Wednesday.

“Azerbaijan supports the regional peace agenda. We are ready for dialogue with Armenia to sign a peace treaty and normalize relations between the two countries,” Aliyev added.
