Renowned singer, composer, and television host Mariam Merabova launched a sharp attack on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with Mikhail Shakhnazarov, a writer and political commentator.
The artist said she was not convinced of his Armenian origins, arguing that a true Armenian could not sell his history and land in such a manner.
Merabova also recalled Pashinyan’s close ties with Armenia’s first president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, whom she described as someone who harbored deep hostility toward Artsakh and held that relationship partly responsible for how the situation in Artsakh unfolded. “I do not understand people who support this. It is simply a disgrace,” she said.
