Anatoly Hunanyan becomes world champion in kickboxing among veterans

Armenian boxer Anatoly Hunanyan, who lives in the Czech Republic, defeated representatives of Portugal and Germany at the 84kg Kickboxing World Championship held in Albufeira, Portugal, and became the kickboxing world champion among Kick Light sports veterans.
The day before, Hunanyan defeated Azerbaijani and Canadian athletes and made it to the semifinals.
Since the boxer is already 41 years old, he can only participate in the veterans’ competition, which is organized for those over 40.
During the competitions, the athlete always waves the Armenian tricolor. And this year, having overcome 5,165 meters, he climbed to the top of Ararat. In addition to Ararat, Hunanyan also has Hayk Nahapet and Sasuntsi David tattooed on his back as evidence of his attachment to the motherland.
Hunanyan has repeatedly performed in amateur and professional rings. He is a multiple champion of the Czech Republic, Europe, and the world.
