ANCA urges Trump–Vance administration not to play favorites in Armenian politics

The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) commented on US Vice President JD Vance’s support for the candidacy of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

“The Trump-Vance Administration should not play favorites in Armenian politics for the very same reasons that foreign countries should not play favorites in American politics.

Increasingly unpopular at home – rigging election rules and jailing civil society and spiritual dissidents – Pashinyan is looking abroad for support,” the ANCA statement reads.
