ANCA-WR holds gala event in Los Angeles

On October 26, the Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region (ANCA-WR) held its 2025 annual gala in Los Angeles. At this long-standing event, the committee reviewed the year’s accomplishments and presented awards to individuals from various fields for their contributions to Armenian advocacy.

This year, awards were once again given in multiple categories to public and political figures, lawyers, businesspeople, and others.

The event was attended by His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, former Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, members of Congress, local officials, community leaders, and young activists.

“We are facing existential threats and geopolitical pressures from both external and internal forces. We must remain steadfast and united against these destructive powers. Although we all desire peace, we must never be mistaken—peace comes through strength,” said ANCA-WR board member Lenna Hovanessian.
