We planned our rally on September 2 with the logic that “where there are Armenians, there will be a demonstration.”

We showed the people of Artsakh that we are with them from all parts of the world and we are ready to fight until victory, chair of the Armenian Youth Federation, Ani Ghazaryan, told Alpha News.

“Our main demand is that Biden ends the blockade of Artsakh with his own forces. The USA, as a state, has very great power. They have already been silent quite a lot, they have not spoken at all. It is not enough to write a paper or give an interview. We need to send food to Artsakh. The people of Artsakh have nothing, they are starving. Our first demand is that the USA sends humanitarian aid to Artsakh.

As sanctions were applied to Russia because of the war in Ukraine, we demand that they do the same to Azerbaijan,” Ghazaryan said.

According to her, youth is a force. She hopes that these protests will be noticed.

“I should note that these protests take place not only in the USA. It is a global campaign that takes place in different countries. We, as young people, have decided that we will fight until the end. This is how we planned our rally on September 2. Where there are Armenians, there will be a demonstration. We will show the people of Artsakh that we are with them from all parts of the world and we are ready to fight until victory,” Ani Ghazaryan said.

The rally on September 2 was the biggest event they organized. Ani Ghazaryan notes that they will not be satisfied with a few protests.

“Last week’s rally was our first big rally for Artsakh. Before that, we marched from the Embassy of Azerbaijan to the White House. We organized a candlelight vigil for our soldiers. We will not stop with just one demonstration. We will continue to organize them. September is a very important month, because September 2 is Artsakh’s Independence Day. We wanted our movement to start from that day. We want to do something to save the people of Artsakh,” Ani Ghazaryan concluded.
