Any EU military assistance to Armenia will negatively affect peace process, Azerbaijani FM says

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a meeting with President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Markéta Pekarová Adamová that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner of the EU and its member states; however, the EU’s unfair double-standard approach does not contribute to the establishment of sustainable peace in the region.

Bayramov noted that, for the first time in 30 years, real conditions for peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia have been created.

He added that military assistance to Armenia under any pretext by the EU and some of its member states or sponsoring Armenia will harm the establishment of stable peace in the South Caucasus.
