Aragatsotn Diocese Administrative Council strongly condemns authorities’ disrespectful actions

The Aragatsotn Diocese issued a statement on its Facebook page, noting that the municipality of the town of Talin began work on the church grounds without coordinating with the diocesan administrative council.

The decision to dismantle and repair the fence around the church territory was made at the initiative of the municipality, without notifying the diocese or receiving a blessing. Demolition work began early in the morning. The entire church territory belongs to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

The diocesan administrative council strongly condemns this disrespectful attitude, emphasizing that it is always ready to cooperate with anyone who extends a helping hand in carrying out construction work related to the church.
